Competitive Programming Innovation Specialist

As a Competitive Programming Innovation Specialist, you’ll drive new initiatives in the competitive programming space. This role blends strategy and creativity to design competitions, engagement activities, and innovative ways to connect with the community, promoting our products and internships. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring fresh, impactful ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new competitive programming initiatives beyond ICPC. This includes discovering emerging competitions, building relationships with organizers, and proposing strategic involvement.
  • Design and organize new, original competitive programming events to engage students and promote the company’s brand and products.
  • Develop innovative ideas for large-scale interactive experiences for students and coaches to run during competitive programming events.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Competitive Programming team to align creative initiatives with broader event strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the company’s products into competitive programming events, demonstrating their utility and value to participants.
  • Stay updated on trends in the competitive programming space and recommend creative approaches to stand out.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Design, Marketing, Product and Legal, to execute innovative concepts and ensure successful implementation.

Requirements:

  • Background in competitive programming, with strong knowledge of the ecosystem and existing competitions.
  • Proven ability to generate and execute innovative ideas, especially in event design and engagement strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of independently leading new initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Proficiency in English for professional communication.
