Head of Product

At JetBrains, code is our passion. Ever since we started back in 2000, we have strived to create the strongest, most effective developer tools on earth. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.

More than 11 million users consistently choose our tools, and 88 of the top 100 Fortune Global companies are among our valued customers. We’ve always been a product-led company, and this growth has been made possible because we create products that developers genuinely love.

Our product portfolio is broad, covering most aspects of a developer's journey. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product to take ownership of some of these products. This role has a tremendous impact, as you’ll be the primary person defining how our products will evolve and shape the future of software development in the years to come.

In this role, you will:

  • Define, continuously refine, and execute the vision and strategy for a product lineup.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers.
  • Work closely with other product teams and executive leadership to align your products with the overall JetBrains strategy.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, setting clear priorities and timelines to ensure focus and alignment across the team.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team creativity and exploring new opportunities and trends.
  • Continuously refine the product discovery and development processes within your department.

We will be happy to have you on our team if you:

  • Have at least 7 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Have exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A demonstrated ability to define a clear product vision and strategy.
  • Have strong analytical skills and ability to gather insights from market and competitive research, as well as customer feedback and behavior.
  • Have a technical education or software development experience.
