We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist to connect the JetBrains brand with the ICPC community through compelling, strategic messaging. You’ll oversee event marketing, social media, and community research to strengthen JetBrains' presence within ICPC. This role requires a blend of creativity, data analysis, and tech industry knowledge, along with a collaborative spirit to work seamlessly across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive awareness and promote the usage of the company’s products within the competitive programming community.
- Create and execute marketing offers and campaigns targeted at students and coaches (university professors).
- Partner with designers to contribute to booth layouts and swag design, aligning visuals with the JetBrains brand image and marketing goals.
- Provide content support at events, including social media engagement before, during and after the event. This includes blog posts, live broadcasts and mailing lists.
- Support lead nurturing and engagement initiatives with post-event follow-up and email outreach.
- Maintain presence in the ICPC community (coaches, participants) through social media, newsletters, and other channels to ensure consistent engagement and feedback and develop targeted offers.
- Help align speakers' presentations with the desired marketing messages.
- Track and analyze the performance of campaigns, producing clear efficiency metrics. Conduct research on product usage by ICPC participants, their requirements, preferences and feedback.
- Coordinate cross-team messaging with the internship, recruitment and product teams to ensure brand consistency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Working closely with the rest of the ICPC collaboration team is essential, as the role occasionally involves contributing to on-site event logistics and working with internal teams beyond traditional marketing tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in marketing or communications, with experience in the tech industry.
- Strong command of social media platforms, content planning tools, and analytics software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of technical audiences.
- Ability to analyze engagement data to inform and improve strategies.
- Proficiency in English for professional communication.
- Willingness to support on-site event logistics as needed, with flexibility for travel.
