In our organization, Datalore serves various purposes for different teams. Our software engineers utilize Datalore notebooks for testing queries and conducting quick data explorations. Senior executives rely on Datalore reports to track essential KPIs and conduct comprehensive studies on our customer base behavior. Data scientists leverage Datalore to prototype models before transitioning to an IDE.
As Product Managers, Datalore plays a vital role in our daily workflow. We conduct extensive initial data explorations and perform feasibility tests. Additionally, we also develop internal tools specifically tailored for our Customer Success (CSM) teams.
The data we work with is primarily stored in PostgreSQL and Redshift databases. While our focus is mostly on tabular data, the complexity of database relations can often pose challenges in navigating the structure and constructing queries.
Fortunately, Datalore has significantly simplified the data retrieval process for us. With the ability to visualise the table structure directly within the notebook and receive coding assistance when writing SQL queries, we have experienced a substantial improvement in gathering the necessary data at a much faster pace.
We share the results of our work in different ways. Firstly, Datalore's interactive reports serve as internal tools for our Customer Success Teams, providing valuable insights. Secondly, executives also use regular Datalore reports, containing key customer statistics for tracking and analysis. Lastly, we create customised slide decks including some Datalore visualisations when sharing insights with clients.
One example of how Datalore has made a significant impact on our business is by enhancing the speed at which we deliver insights to our clients. Speed is crucial for us, and Datalore has enabled us to act quickly and ensure that we always provide timely and efficient answers to our clients' needs.
During brainstorming, we can simply share a live notebook to discuss ideas. We also use shared workspaces for finalised work, promoting code reuse and best practices.
