JetBrains CodeCanvas 2024.2 Help

SSL

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted secure link between a server and a client. CodeCanvas provides the following SSL-related features: it has a storage of trusted SSL certificates and SSL keystores.

Trusted SSL certificates

When using an external authentication provider for logging in to CodeCanvas, you can upload the SSL certificate of the authentication server to CodeCanvas. CodeCanvas will then trust all requests from this server. This is required if the authentication server uses a self-signed certificate or a certificate signed by an untrusted authority.

SSL Keystores

When using an external authentication provider (such as LDAP, Active Directory, or SAML) for logging in to CodeCanvas, you can configure the provider to check client requests using SSL client certificates. As part of this configuration, you need to upload an SSL keystore to CodeCanvas.
