Pointless statement or boolean expression

Reports a pointless or pointlessly complicated boolean expression or statement.

Example:

let a = !(false && x); let b = false || x;

After the quick fix is applied the result looks like:

let a = true; let b = x;

Locating this inspection

By ID

Can be used to locate inspection in e.g. Qodana configuration files, where you can quickly enable or disable it, or adjust its settings.
