Profiler

You can analyze and optimize performance of your application by profiling it in the Instruments app.

Run profiling

  1. Select a run/debug configuration and device from the selector on the toolbar:

    Run Menu

  2. Click the Profile button. Instruments launches, and you can select a profiling template and start profiling your app.

    tip

    You can assign a keyboard shortcut for the Profile action in Preferences | Keymap.

    Instruments window
