Code Inspection: Single character alternation
Reports single char alternation (e.g. a|b|c|d
) in a RegExp. It is simpler to use a character class ([abcd]
) instead. This usually also provides slightly better matching performance.

Suppress an inspection in the editor
Position the caret at the highlighted line and press Alt+Enter or click .
Click the arrow next to the inspection you want to suppress and select the necessary suppress action.
