Code Inspection: Comparison of expressions having incompatible types

Configure inspections: Settings | Editor | Inspections

Show intention actions: AltEnter

Reports a comparison with operands of incompatible types or an operand with a type without possible common values.

Suppress an inspection in the editor

  1. Place the caret at the highlighted line and press AltEnter or click the Intention action icon.

  2. Click the arrow next to the inspection you want to suppress and select the necessary suppress action.
