Code Inspection: Constant on left side of comparison

Configure inspections: Settings | Editor | Inspections

Show intention actions: AltEnter

Reports a comparison operation with a constant value in the left-hand side. According to coding conventions, constants should be in the right-hand side of comparisons.

Suppress an inspection in the editor

  1. Place the caret at the highlighted line and press AltEnter or click the Intention action icon.

  2. Click the arrow next to the inspection you want to suppress and select the necessary suppress action.
