Code Inspection: Unused 'match' condition
Reports the conditions in match
expressions that will never be matched.
Similarly to PHP Engine behavior, the inspection uses strict comparison (===
) to check the types in match
conditions against the match
argument type, regardless of the strict_types
directive. Since no type coercion occurs, some conditions may be non-matched due to non-matching types.
See Match expression (php.net) for details.
