Code Inspection: Call to 'document.write()'
Reports a method call to document.write()
or document.writeln()
. Most usages of such calls are performed better with explicit DOM calls, such as getElementByID()
and createElement()
. Additionally, the write()
and writeln()
calls will not work with XML DOMs, including DOMs for XHTML if viewed as XML. This can result in difficulty to point out bugs.
Suppress an inspection in the editor
