Node.js Interpreters Dialog

Available only in PyCharm Professional: download to try or compare editions

Required plugins:

Javascript and TypeScript, Node.js, Node.js Remote Interpreter -  The plugins are available only in PyCharm Professional, where they are enabled by default.

The following Node.js versions are supported in PyCharm 2020.3 and later:

  • Node.js 14

  • Node.js 16 - the Active Long Term Supported (LTS) version

  • Node.js 18 - the current version

Use this dialog to configure a local or remote Node.js interpreter or a Node.js on Windows Subsystem for Linux.

The term local Node.js interpreter denotes a Node.js installation on your computer. The term remote Node.js interpreter denotes a Node.js installation on a remote host or in a virtual environment.
