ReSharper by Language: Google Protocol Buffers (Protobuf)

ReSharper provides IDE support in .proto files of Google Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) versions 2.x and 3.0.

tip

You can disable ReSharper features in .proto files by clearing the Protobuf checkbox on the Environment | Products & Features page of ReSharper options (Alt+R, O).

ReSharper highlights language syntax in .proto files, detects and highlights errors. Basic code completion and other typing assistance features are available in the editor. You can go to declarations of types and values, search for their usages, and enjoy other navigation features. You can also reformat Protobuf code and rename symbols.
