IDE zoom level

The zoom level defines the size of all user interface elements at once. Increasing or decreasing the default scale makes it easier to use JetBrains Rider on screens of different sizes, or helps to meet your accessibility needs.

tip

Instead of or in addition to zooming the entire IDE, you can change the editor font size.

Zoom IDE

  1. Go to View | Appearance and select Zoom IDE.

  2. To preview different zoom levels, hover over the options in the popup.

  3. Click the preferred zoom level to apply the changes.

Reset to the default zoom level

tip

This option is only visible if the zoom level of your IDE is different from the default.

  1. Press CtrlAlt0S to open settings and then select Appearance & Behavior | Appearance.

  2. Click Reset to default next to the Zoom list.
