This page contains reference information MSBuild Build Runner fields.

tip

Before setting up the build configuration using MSBuild as a build runner, make sure you use XML build project file with MSBuild runner. To build Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 solution file please use sln2005.

Option

Description

Build runner

Select MSBuild from the combobox.

Solution File Path

Specify the path to the solution to be built, relative to the Basic Concepts. Example:

vs-addin\addin\addin.sln

Artifacts Paths

Specify Basic Conceptsas a comma-separated string.

Build file validation

Check this option to perform validation of the build file.

Targets

Enter targets separated by spaces. A target is an arbitrary script for your project purposes.

Command line parameters

Specify any additional parameters for msbuild.exe

Build Working Directory

Specify the path to the Basic Concepts.
