The Build History Clean-up Policy Page in Version 3.0
On this page you can enable or disable the clean-up process, set up its timing, and configure the Clean-Up Policy for various build configurations. The page also informs you about the next scheduled clean-up, and the duration of the last clean-up.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Enable/Disable | If the clean-up policy is disabled, the page is blank, and Enable button is available. If clean-up policy is enabled, this page displays the list of build configurations that have a clean-up policy. |
Clean-up policy settings | Use the following fields to create the clean-up schedule. |
Clean-up start time | Use the drop-down list to select the start time using the hh:mm format |
Save | Click this button to save the start time settings. |
Start clean-up now | Click this button to launch clean-up immediately. |
Configure clean-up policy | Use this table to view the list of build configurations with their clean-up rules, edit or delete clean-up rules. |
Edit | Click this link to open addEditRule30 dialog. |
Delete | Click this link to delete the selected rule. |
Add clean-up rule | Click this button to create a new rule. See addEditRule30 dialog. |
Add / Edit Clean-Up Rule Dialog
Option | Description |

Apply to | Use this combo box to select the build configuration, to which the rule will apply. |
Keep history for ... days | Check this option, if you want to preserve the build history, and specify the number of days. |
Keep not less than ... successful builds in history | Check this option, if you want to preserve certain amount of successful builds, and specify the number of builds to be kept. |
Save | Click this button to save changes and close the dialog. |

Add / Edit Clean-Up Rule Dialog
Option | Description |

Apply to builds of | Use this combo box to select the build configuration(s), to which the rule will apply. |
Select one of the following radio buttons to choose the data that will be removed during clean-up. | |
Remove artifacts, but keep history and statistical data | Select this option to only remove artifacts from the build history. |
Remove builds from history but keep statistical data | Select this option to remove the builds (including artifacts) but retain statistical information. |
Remove everything | Select this option to remove everything from the build history. |
Data will be removed from builds that are | Select the appropriate check box(es). Note that one check box must be selected and that if both options are selected, only the builds that meet both conditions will be affected. |
More than ... days older that the last build | Check this option to preserve the above selected data for a duration of time; select this option and specify the number of days. A day is equivalent to a 24-hour period, not a calendar day. |
Older than the ...-th successful build | Check this option to preserve a certain amount of successful builds (and all the failed builds between them); specify the number of successful builds to be kept. |
Save | Click this button to save changes and close the dialog. |
