This page contains descriptions of the fields and options available when setting up a VCS root using Team Foundation Server:

Team Explorer 2005 or 2008 should be installed on TeamCity server to use TFS integration

Option

Description

Team Foundation Server

Specify the name of the computer in the company's network.

Port

Specify the port number. The default value is "8080".

Protocol

Select the protocol type to be used. The possible options are HTTP and HTTPS.

User Name

Specify the name of the user on the Team Foundation Server. This can be a domain name or a name of the user where the Team Foundation Server is installed.

Password

Enter the password of the user entered above.

Root

Specify the root using the following format:

$<project name><project catalogue>
