Version Control System

A Version Control System (VCS) is a system for tracking the revisions of the project source files. It is also known as SCM (source code management) or a revision control system.

TeamCity supports the following VCS:

• ClearCase

• CVS

• Perforce

• StarTeam

• Subversion

• Team Foundation Server

• Visual Source Safe

Following VCS are supported via bundled plugins:

• Git

• Mercurial

• Vault: since TeamCity 5.1
