WebStorm | Preferences | Tools | Command Line Tool Support for macOS

The dialog is available only when the Command Line Tool Support plugin is installed and enabled as described in Install plugins.

The dialog opens when you click App general add on the Command Line Tool Support page and agree to create a custom tool in the information dialog that opens.

Tool path

Specify the location of the tool executable file.

Alias

Type the character string to use in command calls instead of the full path to the tool.
