We deliver updates and improvements to YouTrack on a continuous basis. Here's an overview of the changes that are available in this version.

New Features

Feature	Description
YouTrack Lite UI	YouTrack Lite is a streamlined interface for creating, browsing, and updating issues. It's designed to help you tune out distractions and focus on the tasks at hand. Key features include: A WYSIWYG editor for writing descriptions and comments. A quick view that shows issue details without leaving the list. Quick access to recently-viewed issues and articles. The ability to sort issues by any attribute on the fly. This interface is offered as an alternative to YouTrack Classic, which means you can switch between the two to match your mood.
VCS Integration with JetBrains Space	We’ve added Space to the list of available VCS integrations. When you reference YouTrack issues in commit messages in Space, the commits are added to corresponding issues automatically.

VCS Integration with JetBrains Space

We’ve added Space to the list of available VCS integrations. When you reference YouTrack issues in commit messages in Space, the commits are added to corresponding issues automatically.

Updates and Enhancements

Feature	Description
Direct Links to Current Sprints	We updated the URLs for agile boards to make them automatically open to the current sprint every time. Direct links to previous sprints remain unchanged.
Access to Original Emails in Mailbox Issues	A new option for issues and comments that are created by the Mailbox integration lets you view the original email messages. Having access to the original messages can help you troubleshoot problems or locate missing information.

Experimental Features

Feature	Description
Imports	We're currently working on an interface that lets you import issues and articles from external sources. When finished, this feature will replace our preconfigured import scripts that rely on Python.
Import from Confluence	A new option for built-in imports lets you migrate your knowledge base from Confluence to YouTrack. This helps you manage all of your project-related issues and articles in a central location.

Discontinued Features

Old YouTrack REST API	We have provided documentation for all of the public endpoints in our new YouTrack REST API. The old REST API is officially deprecated. We will discontinue support for the old REST API later this year. If you have an existing application or integration that uses the old API, we encourage you to migrate your applications to the new API. The new OpenAPI Specification (OAS) is a great tool to help you get started. If you have any questions or require additional support, join our YouTrack Community in Slack.
