This report tracks the change in value for a custom field within a specified time frame.
For example, it shows how many issues have been fixed by each developer in the past six months, or shows who has reported the most issues that ended up with the state Won't fix.
Settings
Use the following settings to configure this report.

Report Name
The name of the report.
Projects
The projects for which the report is calculated.
The projects that are visible in the list are displayed based on your View Project access permissions.
Query
The Query and Projects settings let you narrow the scope of your report to receive more precise results.
The search query field supports the same syntax and auto-completion that are available in the search box.
Period
The time frame for which issues are displayed on the report.
Automatically Recalculate
Configures periodic recalculation for your report.
If you select Never, then the option is switched off. You can only refresh the report manually.
If you select any of the other options, YouTrack checks if the selected time period has elapsed when you open the report.
If yes, the report is recalculated automatically. Reports with auto-recalculation enabled can still be recalculated manually.
Field
Sets which field is used to generate the report.
From
Select values of the selected field between which the transition should be calculated.
To
Select values of the selected field between which the transition should be calculated.
Group by
Determines which custom field is used to group values on the report.
For example, you can group issues by assignee or by project.
Sort order
Sorting order for the report.
By default, items are sorted ascending by count — a number of issues, which relates to a pair of filters.
You can select a natural sort order that corresponds to the order in which values are appear in the set of values for the selected field.
Presentation
Determines which type of chart is used to display data in the report.
This report can be presented as a bar chart or a pie chart.
Visible to
Sets the visibility for the report. By default, the report is visible to its owner only.

A report with the following settings displays the number of issues that transitioned from the Submitted and Open states to the Fixed state in the last month.
