Space has been designed as a platform from the outset, and we are committed to providing first-class support for a wide range of extensions and integrations.

There are several layers of extensibility that each require levels of different technical proficiency. A lot of automation can be done in-product with almost no technical involvement, and then it can be all expanded with coded applications on top of Space. The choice is yours!

Extend Space With External Integrations

Create your own applications, integrations, and workflows or use those available on JetBrains Marketplace from third-party vendors.

HTTP API

Use a rich and well-documented HTTP API to send notifications to Space chats from external services, build chatbots, import data, or integrate with external Git repositories.

Webhooks

Set up webhooks to notify external services, such as an issue tracker, about events that occur in Space.

Interactive bots & Slash commands

Applications can register bots that will act as your counterpart right in the Chat and can be interacted with. Another way to communicate with Applications is via Slash commands.

Space as an Authorization Server

We use OAuth2, the industry-standard protocol for authorization, to provide applications, integrations, and external services with access to Space.

Space Client SDK

We provide an official Space Client SDK for Kotlin and .NET so that you can integrate even more tightly with Space at the source-code level.
