Access workspaces and notebooks
You can access notebooks and workspaces from the editor.
Use the Notebooks tool
The Notebooks tool allows you to quickly access workspaces, notebooks, and folders form the editor and manage them similarly to how you do it on the Home page.
On the left-hand sidebar of the editor, click the Notebooks icon. This will open the Notebooks tool, which provides a search field and the full list of your workspaces with notebooks and folders in them. The list of notebooks from your Private workspace will be expanded by default.
Find the notebook you want to open:
Navigate through the notebooks by expanding the workspaces and folders inside them.
Use the search field in the top of the Notebooks tool. The search results will dynamically adjust to the text you are typing in the search field.
Click the required notebook to open it in this tab, or right-click the notebook and select Open in a new tab to open it in a different browser tab.
To manage a notebook, right-click the required item and select an option from the menu. Find more about managing notebook here.
Open from recent activity or content search results
Go to
.Form the menu, select Open. This will open the Search dialog. You can open one of the items form under Recent activity or use the search field, which is described in the further steps.
Type a string (at least 3 characters) in the search field and press Enter. This will return all notebooks, reports, and folders with titles or cells containing the provided search text.
(Optional) To change the search, edit the string in the text field and press Enter.
To filter the search results, click Show all results and select one of the options.:
Show title matches only to view only the notebooks names that match the search text
Show content matches only to view only the cells with content containing the search text
To sort the found notebooks by workspace, date of their last changes, or author, click Workspace, Last modified, or Author respectively in the header row of the search results list.
To open a notebook from the search results, click the respective record in the search result list.
