Visual Studio Plugin

TeamCity plugin for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 provides the following features:

• remote run (TFS version control only)

• delayed commit (TFS version control only)

• navigation to the build results

• viewing failed NUnit/TFS unit tests stacktraces

• viewing the results of your changes integration into the project code base

tip

Make sure you have switched on .pdb files generation for assemblies involved in NUnit/TFS unit tests. Otherwise navigating to the failed NUnit/TFS unit tests in Visual Studio by clicking link on the Web page will be disabled.

Installing the Plugin



note

• TeamCity plugin for Microsoft Visual Studio requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. If you're going to use remote run and delayed commit features you need TeamExplorer installed (Refer to MSDN documentation on installing Team Explorer).

• If you have installed the TeamCity plugin before installing the Team Explorer, you need to reinstall it in order to use remote run and/or delayed commit features.

All you need to do is download and install the plugin available at the My Settings and Tools page, TeamCity Add-ons area and follow the installation wizard.
