The Good Docs Project templates

Writerside now supports creating new topics based on templates from The Good Docs Project. This large open-source repository of documentation templates is a great way to start with a generic structure for a specific type of document instead of a blank page.

Ignore certain problems reported by the builder

You can now configure the project in such a way that the Writerside builder will ignore certain problems that are not critical and Writerside still produces correct and expected output.

Other fixes and improvements

  • Added support for chapter levels.

  • 😃 Fixed emoji rendering. For the full list of supported emojis, see emoji-java.

  • Fixed various problems related to PDF export and API documentation.

  • Reduced false error highlighting produced by the XML schema and inspections.
