- Does IDE Services store passwords and personal details of end-users?
IDE Services delegates authorization and authentication to the OAuth 2.0 provider of your choice. No personal user information is stored on the IDE Services Server side.
- Does IDE Services allow for configuring user roles and permissions?
IDE Services comes with two default user roles – Regular user and Administrator.
Administrators can access all features of the Web UI: configure profiles, manage users, upload plugins, and so on.
Regular users are those users that connect to the IDE Services Server from developer machines. They will only have access to the applications, plugins, and configurations available according to their profiles.
- How can I work with IDE Services offline?
Developers can use both the Toolbox App in Enterprise mode and IDEs offline. For example, check out this topic about offline work in the IntelliJ IDEA help.

- How can I leave feedback or submit an issue?
If you encounter an issue or would like to submit a new feature, use the IDE Services issue tracker.
Before submitting, it is a good idea to search the issue tracker for similar reports and feature requests to avoid duplicates. If you find a similar ticket, you can comment or upvote it to bring more attention of the development team.
