Create Edit Project

Name

Use this mandatory text field to specify the project name.

Description

Use this text field to enter an optional description of the project.

Create

Click this button to create an empty project.

tip

This button is available when creating a new project. After clicking this button, you can proceed with creating build configurations, configuring your VCS settings, and build runners.

Save

Click this button to save changes you have done to the project being edited.

tip

This button is available when editing an existing project.

Cancel

Click this button to discard all changes and return to the Administration page.

Copy

Click this button to clone the selected project with its configuration.

note

Please note the build history and artifacts are not copied; user's notification rules are copied for a new project.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected project with its build history, artifacts, etc.

Build configurations

Use this section to manage the project's build configurations.

<configuration>

Click the configuration's name to open it for editing.

Edit

Click this link to Create Edit Build Configuration.

Copy

Click this link to clone the selected build configuration. In doing so the build counter resets to 1.

Delete

Click this link to delete the selected build configuration with its history, artifacts, changes etc.

tip

Physically, the deleted build configuration is preserved until the next clean-up, which gives you a chance to restore it, if necessary.

Click this link to Create Edit Build Configuration from scratch.

VCS roots used in this project

Use this section to manage the VCS roots used by this project.

Click on the VCS root's name to open it for editing.

Edit

Click this link to revise the VCS root. (see Configuring VCS Settings)

The project's build configurations that use this VCS root appear in the Used in column of the table. Click the build configuration's name to edit its VCS settings or use the drop-down list see or navigate to build configurations from different projects that use this VSC root.

Unused VCS roots

Use this section to manage any VCS roots that no longer being used by of the project's build configurations.
