Java
Class directly extends 'Throwable'
Warning
New
Last modified: 03 December 2024 Reports classes that directly extend java.lang.Throwable
.
Extending java.lang.Throwable
directly is generally considered bad practice. It is usually enough to extend java.lang.RuntimeException
, java.lang.Exception
, or - in special cases - java.lang.Error
.
Example:
class EnigmaThrowable extends Throwable {} // warning: Class 'EnigmaThrowable' directly extends 'java.lang.Throwable'
- By ID
Can be used to locate inspection in e.g. Qodana configuration files, where you can quickly enable or disable it, or adjust its settings.
